Regular Dallas Chapter Meetings:

The March 20, 2009 meeting will be held at Highland Park Cafeteria, 300 Casa Linda Plaza, Garland Road at Buckner (Loop 12), Dallas, Texas. The cafeteria adjoins Albertson's to the south. Come early to enjoy the good food. Bring friends and family. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. All meetings are held on the third Friday of each month.

NAVARRO MUSEUM PLANS CIVIL WAR LECTURE SERIES

The Pearce Collections Museum at Navarro College in Corsicana will launch its Civil War History Distinguished Lecture Series this fall. The first lecture of the series will feature Battlefield Historian Ed Bearss on Saturday, October 18. The Pearce Civil War Museum in the Cook Education Center will open at 9:00 a.m. with the lecture at 10:30 in the Dawson Auditorium in the Albritton Administration Building. Admission is $25.00 ($15.00 for college students) and lunch will be provided at noon for a cost of $10.00.
